What happens on tour?

In past tours we have worked alongside the Missionary Athletes International Seahorses. These tours we proritize with serving in any way we can to make a difference, especially through soccer! Though our main goal while on tour is to help and provide care for those in need, we also experience the touristic activities available at our hosts’ home. This includes trying new cuisines, camping, and sight seeing.

  • We savored the unique flavors of Ecuadorian cuisine, embarked on exhilarating mountain and waterfall hikes, navigated sand dunes on 4-wheelers, camped under the jungle canopy, paddled canoes to visit an indigenous Amazon tribe, and thrilled in activities like zip-lining, bungee jumping, and cliff swinging. Adventure was plentiful for all enthusiasts.

  • Accompanying us were high school boys and girls teams, engaging in daily training sessions, matches, and tournaments. The competition was fierce, providing invaluable opportunities for growth and achievement.

  • We organized and led two weeks of summer soccer camps for over 200 young players. Our days were brimming with skill-building exercises, Bible study, English lessons, and spirited World Cup-style games.

  • Item descriptionEach day, we gathered for player-led worship, creating unforgettable moments such as singing around a campfire in the jungle. Daily devotions, sometimes amidst the awe-inspiring mountain scenery, provided opportunities for personal reflection on faith and identity. Additionally, Sports Ministry Training (SMT) sessions equipped them for their leadership roles in-country.

  • This journey was truly unforgettable and profoundly impactful, shaping our lives for the better. Join us in celebrating a journey filled with exploration, sportsmanship, and meaningful community service in Ecuador. We eagerly look forward to returning soon!
